Troubleshooting Trailer Brake Controller that Stopped Working

Question:
I have a 2008 ram 2500. My trailer brakes quit working out of nowhere. I’ve checked everything on the trailer and it’s fine. I’m showing good voltage on all the pins on the truck side except the trailer brake wire. I’m only showing.45v when the brakes are pressed or when they are not.

What does the brake controller show in your vehicle? Does it look like it's powering on? If not, check wiring of it and fuses related to it. If so, then I would try cleaning pins of the 7-way connector on the truck and trailer as it's most likely just a dirty pin that's preventing connection and activation.
