i have a 2008 ford escape 2wd aoto i need a towbar for my rv i need everything can u set me up and how much o first of all CAN MY ESCAPE B TOWED with out burning up my tran iam new at this i hope u can help me out

According to the information I found on page 177 of an online copy of the 2008 Ford Escape owners manual, FWD models can be towed with a tow dolly only. AWD models must be trailered. Only manual transmission-equipped models can be flat towed, 4 wheels down. In your particular case, you will need to use a tow dolly to prevent damaging the transmission.
