Replacement Spring Bar Release Clips for a Draw-Tite Weight Distribution System

Question:

Same question as Vincent above. Cant find a name on this hitch. Lift brackets have Reese on them but no name on the hitch assembly. Could this be an older Reese hitch? Will the Fastway release clip assembly repair kit.work on my hitch which looks a lot like the picture of Vincents. My pictures are attached.

Based on the design of the head and the Draw-Tite hitch ball, I am pretty sure you have an older Draw-Tite weight distribution system. That would also explain the Reese spring bars because Reese and Draw-Tite are sister companies. For your system, I recommend using the Draw-Tite Spring Bar Retainers, # 3311. These are very similar to the Fastway release clips, but these were designed specifically for the Draw-Tite weight distribution heads.

I have attached an old photo of the Draw-Tite weight distribution head for you to compare to your system. The photo quality is not the best due to its age, but you can closely it resembles your head.
