Q : I have a 1992 Ford F350 long bed 96.5 inches inside front rail to tailgate. I would like a locking, weathertight tanneau cover that will work with a ladder rack, so I can haul 13foot long kayaks. It appears the Elevate rack system is great. Will this work with a RetraxPro XR? What other locking tanneau covers would work? I would like retractable, but open to all suggestions. Will the PACE EDWARDS FULL METAL JACKRABBIT TONNEAU COVER with Explorer rails work with the Elevate Ladder Rack TX84NV?

The TruXedo Elevate Truck Bed Rack System # TX66NV will work with the RetraxPro XR with T-slots. The only problem is Retrax doesn't make one for a 1992 F-350. If you want to use the TruXedo rack your only option would be a tonneau cover like the Access TonnoSport # A22010019, but I don't think you want that soft roll-up cover.
The Pace Edwards Full-Metal JackRabbit # 311-FEF1290 fits what you're looking for in a tonneau cover but the TruXedo rack will not fit the Explorer Rails. The only option for a ladder rack with this cover is the # 311-UR3004 or # 311-CR3004. Unfortunately the age of the truck limits you on your options.
