Can You Use the Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box On a Short Bed Ford F-350

I have a 2022 f350 , 6.75’ box ,2022 5th wheel Jayco camper, rhino box, 12995lb gvwr, will the gen y hitch work ?

The Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Boxes like part # GY98GR are designed for long bed trucks. That said, there are many who use these with short bed trucks, you'll just have to pay attention to your turning clearance and you likely won't be able to make sharp, 90 degree turns. If you compare it to a standard or traditional fifth wheel hitch, it would be pretty much the same as trying to use a fixed hitch on a short bed.

That being said, what you can do to increase your turning clearance is use an offset hitch ball like the Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Ford OEM Puck Systems part # GY63XR.
