Will The Malone Deluxe Kayak Carrier With Tie-Downs Interfere With Me While I Drive?

Question:
I intend on using the Malone Foam Block Kayak Carrier MPG152 on my 2017 Buick LaCrosse. I’m concerned that the front strap, as it traverses through the inside of my vehicle will cross where my head is as I’m driving. Will it?

If you pull the straps tight enough on the Malone Deluxe Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs - Foam Block Style # MPG152 they should pull out of the way of your head while driving.
Malone recommends that you drape the straps over the kayak and connect/tighten the straps together inside the vehicle. These straps should then suck-up closer to the roof and be out of your way. If not, you can always reposition the straps to be our of your way.
