Will Thule Motion 22 Cargo Box Fit 2013 BMW X5 without Hatch Interference Using AeroBlade Edge Bars

Question:
Just double checking if this box will interfere with the rear hatch operation? Also, I have factory rails and would like to order the Thule Aeroblade Edge with locks. Does this fit and, if so, what exact part number do I order? Thank you in advance for your help.

To start with the last question, as long as your 2013 BMW X5 has the raised factory side rails that run front to back then you can install an AeroBlade Edge system using # TH7503-TH7503. You may or may not need to remove the factory crossbars to install this system. I have linked a video showing a typical installation for you.
With this roof rack installed the largest box that you could install is the Motion 18, # TH629806, and not have rear hatch interference. If you stuck with the factory crossbars then you could use the Motion 22 box, # TH6299B.
