I have tapped mounting holes for mounting a winch. Currently have Dutton hand crank winch. Is the cover removable and have clearance to tighten the mounting bolts?

The Dutton-Lainson TW4000 StrongArm Electric Winch part # DL25200 has an access hole in the rear of the unit you can use for tightening the mounting hardware, I have attached a photo of this below. We also offer the Dutton-Lainson Quick Mount Kit for StrongArm Electric Winches part # DL70309 which makes installation easier since you don't have to secure the bolt head with a tool.
The case on the Dutton-Lainson TW4000 StrongArm Electric Winch is removeable but it's not designed to be removed for installation so I don't recommend this.
