Upgrading Trailer Tires and Wheels on an EZ Loader Boat Trailer

Hello, I have an EZ loader trailer that I transport to kayaks on 800 lbs. I current have Carlisle sport trail 4.80.12 load B tires. 5 lug pattern. I want a tire the is a little wider with a higher load rating. What would you recommend? Thank you very much!

If you can fit it, the best option would be the Contender ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # AC13R45WS. This wheel/tire has an 81mph speed rating and is radial to help run cool. It also has a 6.97" section width which is wider than the 4.8" section width of your current tires.
But you will want to take some measurements to be sure that it will fit. You will want to measure the distance from the top of the tires to the underneath of your fender and the amount of distance between the tires and the inside of the fender/frame. You could also potentially move the fenders around for the tires/wheels to fit.
