How to Ground Optronics Rectangular Tractor and Utility Lamp # TL46FS to Horse Trailer
Updated 01/14/2014 | Published 01/12/2014 >
Question:
I purchased 3 of these lights for my horse trailer. My question is if I can ground them inside the housing of the light itself, or what is the best method to ground this when I only have a hot write coming out of the trailer? Thank you

For best performance, you would want the ground wire to attach directly to the trailer frame. It would also be acceptable to ground the wire to a piece of metal that is directly connected to the trailer frame. I would not recommend grounding to the interior of the lamp housing.
