Question:

No reaction on controler when pushing the brake. Fuse to battery not blown. When manually operated OC appeares on controler. Is there a error code list availible? Is power 12vdcsupposed to be on the 3rd pin of the 7 way plug at all times? Thank you for your time.

Take a close look at your trailer connector, make sure that it's not corroded or damaged. If you can see any green corrosion on the pins, the corrosion might have spread to the interior of the connector, interfering with the connection.

The 12 Volt accessory circuit on your 7-way connector uses pin # 4, which would be in the 1 o'clock position when you are looking at the front of the connector. The # 3 pin carries the running/marker light signal and would be in the 11 o'clock position. The # 3 pin should not have any voltage unless the vehicle headlights are turned on.

You will also want to check the red wire exiting your controller with a circuit tester, such as part # PTW2993, to make sure the wire has voltage when the brake pedal is pressed.
