Hi there, Can you please confirm that the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT95MR will fit my 2022 Ford Escape PHEV? I see in your forum that your expert CONNOR L says it fits. But in the description it reads: Excluding Hybrid. Why does it say excluding hybrid if it fits? Thanks!

While the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT95MR will fit on a 2022 Ford Escape Hybrid it will not work on your PHEV. The PHEV is different from the standard hybrid and currently there is not a aftermarket receiver capable of fitting your Escape. As far as the "excluding Hybrid" and "Hybrid" for the vehicle fitment, this is just how the fit guide team determined would be the best way to show what vehicles it does and does not fit as some will not fit the hybrid and some will only fit on a hybrid.
Even without a aftermarket receiver available you may be able to have a custom fabricated receiver made at a fabrication shop near you. The Weld-On 2" Receiver # E17 can be used by a fabrication shop to create a receiver.
