Question:
I already have a 4-pin flat connector wired on my van. Occasionally, I might need to pull a small 2-horse trailer without needing the electric brakes. I need an adapter that will allow me to connect the 7-pin blade connector on the horse trailer to the 4-pin connector on my van. I found a couple such adapters on your website. However, I dont know if the blade connector on the hirse trailer is an RV style....? I have a picture of said connector I can provide, if needed. I am confused as to the 7-pin flat blade connectors.

It sounds like you need an adapter like the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185 which will plug into the 4-way on the vehicle and then allow you to hook up either a 4 or 7-way trailer connector. The two trailer connector ends simply plug into one another and then you will have to ground the white wire but the other wires are optional depending on what features the trailer has.
For example, if the trailer does not have brakes then you don't need to hook up the blue wire and it can just simply be taped up.
I have attached for you below a photo of what the RV style seven way looks like so if you have something different just let me know what that is and I'll see if there is another adapter for you.
For example, if you have a seven pin round you'd need the Custer Trailer Connector Adapter part # KIT-7P-4 instead.
