Recommended Roof Rack for a 2023 Mazda CX-50

I have a great roof rack for your 2023 Mazda CX-50 but we have not had a chance to install it on a vehicle yet because they're so new. We have installed the rack I am recommending on other Mazda's with the flush mounted rails and they stick up right at 5" from the top of the rail to the bottom of the crossbar. I do not see you having any compatibility issues but I recommend taking some measurements of your sun roof open to confirm.

To mount a roof rack to the flush mounted rails on your CX-50 you will want the roof rack by Yakima and it includes the following parts:

This aero bar roof rack system has a 165 lbs capacity. The built-in WindRidges will help control the flow of air over the bars to reduce wind noise and vibration.

For additional security I recommend adding the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores (QTY 4) item # Y07204. these locks will secure your Yakima roof rack from theft.

Just to note it is recommended by the manufacturer to not open the sun roof with the crossbars installed.
