Depending on your tailgate mat will determine the installation hardware and method for install on your 1999 Chevrolet Silverado Fleet side. We have the DeeZee # DZ86700 and Westin # 50-6515 which are rubber mats. These attach by drilling holes into the tailgate and using screws to hold the mat in place. We also have the BedRug # BMC99TG mat which uses adhesive hook and loop fastener strips to secure to the tailgate.
