Question:
I need to know the mounting hole locations and distance between holes and centers. What length the slots are where they exist. I need to be able to determine if this winch will fit on my older style winch post.

I pulled a sample of the Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL15002 from our stock and took measurements of the mounting surface. The overall dimensions and mounting hole spacing are shown on the attached photo.
The overall size of the plate is 3-1/2-inches x 3-3/4-inches. The oval openings measure 7/16-inch x 13/16-inch. The round hole has a diameter of 7/16-inch (not pictured). Center-to-center hole spacings are shown in the photo.
This 900-lb-rated winch features an anti-corrosion zinc finish, high-carbon steel gears and permanently lubricated bearings; it includes a handle but not the cable or strap. I have included links to both a strap and a cable suitable for use with this hand winch.
