Question:
My trailer wiring pigtail has been cut off. The plug and hanging colored wires are there, but I need to know what the color codes are and a diagram of this model of the wiring with a tow package. Thank you.

If your 1999 F-250 Super Duty pickup had a factory 7-Way wiring harness and the under vehicle connector has not been damaged you could use the Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, 7-Way (Super Duty), item # 118243 to replace your pigtail.
If you would like to hard wire a new connector to the truck, then you will need to use a circuit tester. item # PTW2993 if you need one, to verify the circuits that need to be wired to the 7-Way, item # HM47210, or 6-Way connector, item # PK11609.
You could also use the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole, item # 37185, as seen in our video, or the Adapter 4 Pole to 6 Pole and 4 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter, item # 37175. You would need to eliminate the 4-way connector on these to hard wire all of the functions.
The wiring diagram on our wiring page shows which circuits to wire to on the inside of the connectors. For your Ford the colors should be Red-Hot, Blue-Brake, White-Ground, Yellow-Left/Stop, Green-Right/Stop, Brown-Taillights, and the center pole is axillary power or the backup light circuit.
