Question:
I have a new Lexus Rx450 HL without the tow package. We need a hitch for a cargo carrier that we already have. Our cargo carrier is for a 40 pound recumbent tricycle. The carrier is about 5 ft. front to back and the width of the vehicle. It also has lights on it that are wired to a 9 pin round plug. The carrier weighs about 40 pounds. Do you have a hitch that and wiring that will fit my car?

I can definitely help you out with wiring for your 2022 Lexus RX 450h L but unfortunately it doesn't look like there have been any trailer hitch fitments for a RX 450h L, even if they are the older year models. To add a hitch to your vehicle you'll need to have a shop fabricate one for you.
For wiring I recommend checking out the ZCI Kit # 119250KIT from Tekonsha. This is a specialty wiring kit that pulls power directly from your battery via the power lead and then it uses clamps to "sense" when to send power to the different trailer functions so you aren't splicing into your new vehicle wiring.
Your 9 pin round connector sounds like it's a European design or an adapter like the Pollak # PK12906 was installed on it to make it compatible with a different connector on a tow vehicle. In order to match the connector from your cargo carrier to the 4-Way Flat connector on the ZCI I recommend cutting off your 9 pin connector and installing the Hopkins Easy-Pull # HM48114. You'll likely be combining some of the wiring so larger heat shrink butt connectors like part # DW05745-5 so you can fit a few wires into one end.
Attached are a few videos for you to check out.
