As long as you have a hitch on the 2001 Toyota Tacoma the Ohio State Buckeyes Hitch Cover # CHC322L would work for you.
This cover will fit 1-1/4 inch hitches and 2 inches so as long as there is a hitch you would be good.
If you do not have a hitch I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch # 75078. This hitch would also be great for future uses like towing trailers or carrying a bike rack.
