I would like to find a 2 hitch for my 2000 Mercury Sable wagon. I dont want to tow with it, but instead use it with my heavy duty bike rack. I dont want to use a 1 1/4 to 2 adapter.

For a 2000 Mercury Sable Wagon there is only 1-1/4 inch hitches available like the Draw Tite prat # 34313 which is a Class II hitch with a 300 lb tongue weight capacity. Since you need to carry a heavy duty bike rack your best option would be a bike rack that fits this hitch size that has a higher weight capacity. For that you'd want the Hollywood Racks TRS bike rack part # HR3000 which fits this hitch size and has a weight capacity of 50 lbs per bike.
