Recommended Crossbars for a 2007 Honda Odyssey

Question:
Hi, I would like to purchase a basic rack that gives me the ability to carry both a kayak and a canoe at the same time. Lets assume the canoe is 38 wide and that the kayak is in a J-style carrier. Ive got a 2007 Honda Odyssey with OEM rails, front-to-back. Im currently looking at this Curt product: Item # C18118 Thanks

The Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails item # C18118 is confirmed to fit your 2007 Honda Odyssey. This is a great inexpensive option that will provide you with a set of aero 53-3/8" long crossbars. These crossbars have a 150 lbs capacity.

For a compatible J-style kayak carrier I recommend the Curt J-Style Kayak Carrier item # C18320. These will mount to the Curt roof rack bars item # C18118 and comes with 2 tie down straps included. This is the safest and most secure way to carry kayaks on a roof rack since they'll keep the kayak from shifting around on the bars.
