How to Use a Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack with Rhino Rack Heavy Duty Crossbars

Just wondering why the 48inch x 38inch Pioneer platform is advertised as not being compatible to the Rhino Rack Heavy Duty cross bars? Is this correct or does it mount properly with included or optional hardware? Just doesnt seem to make sense why it couldnt be mounted somehow with T Bolts. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

There is alternate hardware that you can use to mount the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars # RR42114BF to your Rhino Rack heavy duty crossbars.

- Pioneer Platform Mounting Kit for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RR43105

The reason you need the Pioneer Platform Mounting Kit for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RR43105 for the Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars # RR42114BF is because the Rhino Rack heavy duty crossbars are larger and have larger channels than most crossbars.
