I want to attach a longer antenna. would I look for a RP-SMA Male antenna? Im not familiar with antenna technologies.

The Antenna Extension # WVOSAPANTEXT will allow you to place the antenna up to 10" closer to the monitor on the VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera # HM34FR. Both these use the same antenna connection.
