I see there are a couple options to add a Curt hitch to the 2023 Jeep Gladiator, which one do you recommend as the best?

The best overall option for adding a Curt trailer hitch receiver to your 2023 Jeep Gladiator is the one that gives you the most overall function and capacity, which is the hitch that bolts onto your frame:

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C74DR

There are a few reasons the # C74DR is the best Curt hitch, starting with the install. This hitch just bolts right into your Jeep's frame rails, without any type of drilling needed, and it really couldn't be easier. The other Curt hitch, part # CU74FR, requires you to drill a hole through your bumper cover to install.

The # C74DR has has higher capacities of 7,500 lbs towing/750 lbs tongue weight compared to the 5,000 lbs towing/500 lbs tongue weight of the # CU74FR. I always prefer the higher capacity hitches, even just for peace of mind for how strong they are. I also wanted to mention, in case you also need a 4-way trailer wiring harness, the correct part is the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56407.
