Yes, you can add a hitch to your 1993 Jeep Renegade YJ. You will want the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98859. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Jeep with included hardware. This hitch is made in the USA and has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 350 lbs tongue weight capacity.
I have attached an installation video below of a similar hitch being installed on a 1995 YJ we had in our shop not long ago.
If you plan on doing any towing you will need a wiring harness item # 118356 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
