Yes, the ProPride 3P Weight Distribution Hitch # PR37QR will allow you to backup with the trailer connected without having to disconnect any of the hitch system. The sway control will not prevent the trailer from being able to turn while backing up. This particular hitch comes with a 2-1/2" receiver and is for a trailer weighing up to 10,000lbs with a tongue weight of 700-1,000lbs.

As I see you have a 2022 Ford F-350 it will likely have the 3" receiver and we have the ProPride # PR67QR that will fit into your receiver. This hitch is rated for up to 14,000lbs and works with a tongue weight of 850-1,400lbs of tongue weight.

You will need the Wiring and Safety Chain Extension Kit # PR34QR as the ProPride hitch is so much longer than a traditional hitch. This will ensure that you do not damage the wiring by stretching it due to the longer hitch.
