Recommended RV Converter for Power Draw of 15 Amps

Question:
I am rebuilding a vintage rv trailer.I would like recommendations on what size progressive dynamics converter I need.I will draw no more than 15 amps AC. Do I need to size my batteries to converter?Eventully I will install solar to charge batteries.DC draw will 5 ceiling lights Led,fridge.ceiling fan.No air conditioner at this time.I hope I havent confused you. Thanks

The converter sizing is based off load/pull from the electrical system. You'll size the batteries for the trailer first then you'll size the converter for the load on the batteries. If you're only drawing around 15 amps max then the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger part # PD9130 would work great for you. It's currently the smallest size converter we offer at 30 amps but will be fine for your setup. I don't recommend going higher as you can overcharge the batteries.
