Question:

I am looking for a kayak rack to fit on a 2 inch x 2 inch bar. If I buy larger screws can I get this product to work. I read here that it fits on 3 7/8 wide x 1 3/8 inch tall.

I do have an alternate option for you, but there is not an approved adapter/screws that allow you to use Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof SUP or Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # RR570 with crossbars larger than 3-7/8" wide x 1-3/8" tall.

You can use the Malone Rack Pads for Crossbars # MPG314, which will wrap around your square bars. You would then need a tie-down kit like the etrailer Kayak Tie-Down Kit # e36ZR to secure your kayak to the rack and carrier.
