Options to Add Additional 4-Way Connector to Rear of Tow Vehicle for Light Bar

Question:
I would like to add a led tail light bar to the back of my travel trailer. Its not easy to tap into the lights and run wires through the exterior wall. Im considering running a second circuit to the front of the trailer with a four flat connector. Obviously I need both connectors to be hot.

What you could do is use a 4-way kit part # 18252 to install a second 4-way on your tow vehicle wiring so that you had a dedicated one for your LED light bar. It would wire directly to the current 7-way you have and would function the exact same. Or you could replace your current 7-way with the Hopkins 7-way part # 30955 which plugs right into the same connector and gives you both a 4-way and a 7-way.
