Kayaks each weigh 60 lbs, so under limit for rack. Talked to Thule and they didnt recommend using a rack for this vehicle at all.

If you are not comfortable using a rack on the roof of your 1999 Toyota Camry, I do have an alternate option for you. You can use the Malone HandiRack Universal Fit Roof Rack # MPG452.
