Troubleshooting Brakes Not Working After Installation of Breakaway and Heavy Rain

Question:
Install this brakeaway yesterday everything worked fine...I turned the truck off for about 10 hrs it stormed and rained hard...started the truck this morning, theres a constant yellow light on the box and no trailer brakes please advise

The yellow light on the # 20099 is normal and indicates charging. If you tried the manual override and the brakes didn't work, I'd check out everything from the installation and make sure nothing got wet that shouldn't. Also make sure all of your connections are still secure. If you tried using the brake pedal and nothing happened while sitting there, it is because you have to be moving for a proportional brake controller to send power to the brakes.
