Will Tire Linc OneControl TPMS LC37VR Drain Trailer Battery

Question:
Our 5th wheel is NOT prewired for the Tire Linc system and I wanted to know if the 12v power we will supply to the unit will be continuous power or will it be on a switch? If it is continuous power I assume it will not drain the RV battery while in storage?

The signal repeater of the Tire Linc OneControl TPMS part # LC37VR does draw battery from a trailer battery and it does not have a switch to turn it off but after 20 minutes of inactivity it does go into sleep mode. Instead of wiring it to the battery you could run it to the running light circuit of the trailer so that the only time it would be active would be when the running lights are on.
