Trailer Hitch Receiver Necessary Trimming On Metal Bumper During Installation on 2022 Honda Civic
Updated 07/19/2022 | Published 07/16/2022 >
Question:
Hello - The video for the 2021 civic shows a piece om either side of the metal bumper needing to be trimmed before re-installation of the fascia. Is the same true on the 2022? One of the comments said it did not need trimming. Thanks

The metal bumper trimming is an as needed situation for the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24954 on your 2022 Honda Civic.
Not every vehicle will require it to be trimmed and you can see in the instructions linked below that it shows you how to tell before reassembly if your bumper will need to be trimmed. There are also different fasteners used on the 2022 so be sure to see directions before removing your rear fascia.
