Using 25-Year Old Thule SquareBars on a 2014 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Cab

While we do have a great option for you, the 480xt and 480 Traverse towers will not work with your older Thule square bars for two reasons. The first is that they are designed for the newer Thule SquareBar Evo crossbars that have a bottom channel in them. Without the bottom channel, you cannot attach bars to the towers. Your 25-year old square crossbars do not have bottom channels in them. Secondly, the 480xt towers are discontinued from production.

The only other option is to purchase a completely new roof rack. I recommend the following parts:
