Question:
I have a Titan, 2001, car hauler, 12k GVW that has a 4inch OD inner tube. I need to use this type coupler because my ball base is 44inch above pavement. Will this slide in to my 20inch long 4 1/2 OD outer tube?

According to my technical contact at Bulldog, their goose neck coupler Inner Tube # BD1289170300 has an outer diameter of 4 inches. Since this is the same outer diameter as your existing tube the fit should be fine.
This part is rated for 20,000-lbs so it should be more than adequate for your 12K GVW car hauler.
