Will The Replacement Mounting Hardware For Car Top Cargo Roof Cargo Box Work With My G3 Absolute?

Question:

I have a G3® - Absolute™ Roof Cargo Box The fixing kit provided with this cargo were too small to fit under and around my crossbars. The company is out of stock of the G3® K9.042 - Elegance Fixing Kit which would probably work on m ctrossbars. Will this kit mount the cargo box to my crossbars? Thanks in advance!

While the Replacement Mounting Hardware for Car Top Cargo Roof Cargo Box # CTC-18PARTS that you mentioned has not been tested by the manufacturer to work with other brands as it is designed to work with the no longer available Car Top Cargo Rooftop Cargo Box # CTC-18S, we have had customers in the past use this on their off-brand cargo carriers and have success.

This is a fairly "one size fits most" option, however you might need to do some fabricating if the holes do not line up perfect.

The mounting holes on # CTC-18PARTS are 4" apart, and the u-bolts have a 3/16" diameter and is spaced 4" apart on center.

If that matches what you need, then this will work great for you.
