Foam Block Needed to Add Height to Crossbar for Carrying Kayak

Question:
Whats the height of the pad above the bar? My roof rack sits about 2-3 inch inches below my bed rack and my kayak hovers over the roof rack. Looking to add 3-4 inch inches to the roof rack bar height but didnt how tall the pad portion was. Thanks

The Rhino-Rack SUP and Surfboard Pads # RRRWP03 have a foam piece that is 42mm thick which is about 1.65" so these will be a little bit under what you're looking for.
For your application I recommend using something like the Malone Deluxe Kayak Carrier with Tie-Downs # MPG152 instead. These foam blocks measure 3" tall in the center of the block so they will give you the height you're needing.
