Actually, on the 2004 Ford F-53 chassis, you will just need harness # 3034-P. There is a port to plug in the Tekonsha brake controllers on the F-53 chassis. For 1999 to 2011, the port is hard to get to but it is there. It is up under the dash, behind the instrument cluster. It is a gray connector. Ford has a document you can search for online if you type in ford q-206 f-53 it will be the first entry, a pdf called New Q-206 Bulletin - Ford Fleet.
If you wanted to go ahead with the hardwire installation then to find the correct wire on the brake switch above the brake pedal you will need to use a circuit tester, # PTW2993, if you do not already have one. You will need to test the wires with the circuit tester until you find one that only shows power with the brake pedal. If you think you have found it but it also shows power with the headlights or turn signals on it is not the correct wire.
