Can a Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Be Used on a Vehicle it Was Not Made For

Would be installing on motor home . What is the width bolt hole to bolt hole.

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 41947 is a custom fit hitch designed for specific vehicles and should not be used on any applications it was not designed for. The trucks it does fit on would have approximately 37 inch frames measured from outside to outside.

We do have hitches that are meant for motor homes though. I have included a link to them for you. All of these hitches list the frame widths they will fit and the warranties will not be voided because they are made for your application.
