Recommended Lithium Batteries To Replace Lead Acid Group 24 Duralast Batteries

Question:

Could you make a recommendation/proposal for 2 lithium battery replacements and the appropriate converter/Charger to go with it for my MH. It is a 2000 CruiseMaster GeorgieBoy model 3515. The existing deep cycle Coach Batteries are in the front under the grill next to the Chassis battery. Converter/Charger is: Parallel Power Components MODEL 7455 Battery disconnect is: Intellitec BDO Battery #1: Durolast 24MD-DL CR. MCA 685. Reserve Cap 140 Battery #2: same #1 installed 11/19 #2 installed 8/20 At this time I probably wont be be doing any solar but am open to equipment that would prep me for such.

To replace your two Group 24 Duralast batteries on your 2000 CruiseMaster GeorgieBoy model 3515 motorhome I recommend the Power Sonic RV Lithium Battery # PS34FR.

These lithium batteries have an awesome Bluetooth connectivity feature that allows you to monitor your battery's status on your smart device using the Power Sonic app. I've attached a video below where Dave will walk you through the app and go over the features of these batteries.

To replace your Parallax 7455 converter/charger I recommend the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD9160ALV. This converter is designed for use with lithium batteries and utilizes a custom lithium charging profile that ensures a complete charge for your batteries.

When it comes to solar the converter and solar panels will not be wired together, but can both be ran to the batteries. The converter charger can read the charge of the batteries and accommodate the second charge coming from the solar panels.
