How Much Length Does the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes Add to the Vehicle

Question:

Im leaning heavily toward getting the Saris Freedom rack for 2 bikes SA4412B, but Im a little concerned about the overall length of the rack sticking off the back of my car. It looks like its 12inch from the pin hole to the closest part of the rack, but is there any info available about the size of the rack out to the farthest wheel tray? Our garage is pretty small front to back, and I wouldnt want to have to take the rack on and off between rides. Thank you for the help!

The Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # SA4412B measures 27" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside of the wheel tray. If this does not give you enough room to pull into your garage then you may want to consider a folding rack like the Saris SuperClamp HD Bike Rack for 2 Bikes part # SAR44VR.
