What Octane of Fuel is Needed for the Champion 9,000-Watt Inverter Generators

Question:
Is there any specifics about the gas used in the generator? Is regular pump gas okay, or is Premium required? Just curious. Thx

The Champion 9,000-Watt Inverter Generators w/ Parallel Kit # CH99FR uses standard unleaded gas so there is no need to mix gas and oil. It needs gas with a minimum octane rating of 87 and a maximum of 10% ethanol. So no, you are not required to use premium gas.
