Question:

I purchased a furrion 15.000 btu ac unit last fall for an enclosed trailer it freezes up the condenser coil no matter the setting but if I take the cover off which was new with the unit it doesn't freeze and works wonderfully I have it sealed really well between the supply and the return so I am not getting supply air into the return that was my first thought but now I think the cover is too restrictive for the unit. is there a different cover with bigger vents for this unit I'm trying to figure out my options .. before I start hacking bigger holes in the existing cover just to make it work I would much rather not.

For the # FR92PR unit we have the Replacement Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner Cover, # FR54PR. This is the same cover. Your freezing issue is most likely due to the humidity of your environment relative to the operating temp of your AC unit in addition to the air flow. I recommend you try varying your set temperature if you are wanting to refrain from modifying your cover.
