My technical contact at Curt Manufacturing confirmed that their Class I 1-1/4-inch trailer hitch # C11169 will not fit the Audi Cabriolet model. The frame structure of this convertible differs from the sedan and is not able to accept this or any other trailer hitch that we know of.
I also checked with several other trailer hitch manufacturers, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese, and unfortunately none of these brands offers any hitch for your vehicle.
Accessory items, such as trunk-mount bike carriers for example, also pose a compatibility issue with the unique design of your vehicle.
