Is There a High Rise Ball Available for the Hide-A-Goose # 9468-94?

Question:
I’m buying a 2019 Ford F-350 lariat dually long bed next week that already has the hide-a-goose 9468-94 installed. We currently tow our 39’ 5th wheel with a slider hitch but are switching to the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box GY38FR. In the notes for the Gen Y it says “Because the Gen-Y Hitch Executive is shorter than the Lippert 1621 or 1621 HD pin box, the clearance between your trailer and tow vehicle during turns might be reduced.” This concerns me. Someone told me to get a “high-rise” ball, but I can’t find one specific for the hide-a-goose 9468-94. I did see that the Reese Elite Series balls RP19315 are similar, but they don’t say specifically that it would work with my hide-a-goose. Any suggestions or assistance will be appreciated!

I confirmed with my tech at Reese that the only ball that sits higher than the one that comes with the Hide-a-Goose # 9468-94 is the Hide-A-Goose Performer Gooseneck Hitch Ball with 2-5/16" Diameter # 19306. This comes with a 1-inch rise. However, the ball you would need is one that has a offset that is closer to the rear of your truck and not one that is necessarily taller.
