I saw that the EcoHitch requires modification of the knockout panel for the Model Y. Does the DrawTite hitch for this vehicle require the same modification?

Unlike the EcoHitch # EH39FR the Draw-Tite # DT58MR will not require modification of the knockout panel on your 2022 Tesla Model Y. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver just like the EcoHitch. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight of 525 lbs. It features a bolt-on installation and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
