Hi. I have a 1993 Thor Pinnacle 285D, 28. Im thinking about purchasing the Lippert Solera awning room, model number 362235, for 20 awnings. I measured from the outside of the awning bars, not the center, but it was 20. Will this model work for my awninf?

You'll be fine even though you measured from edge to edge. You may just end up with a little bit of extra fabric in the corners when installing your Solera Family Room for RV Awnings # LC362235. You will however need to verify that your awning is one of the following models to ensure fitment:
Solera Classic, Hybrid, and Solera 12V power awnings
Carefree Fiesta, Spirit, Pioneer manual, Traveler, and Eclipse 12V power awnings
Dometic Sunchaser, 8500 manual, Weather Pro, and 9100 series 12V power awnings
If you don't have one of these awnings then you could install a 20' awning like the Solera 12V XL Power RV Awning # LCV000334969-362243 to be able to add on a screen room.
