Question:

I am putting in 7 pin trailer wiring on 08 pathfinder when I located plug behind kick panel it already has something plugged in it. It has factory tow package and a 4 pin plug already do I need to skip this or replace existing with new

The harness that is plugged in behind your kick panel is the factory 4-way. What you need to do is to remove the plug and install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118266 if you do not have any relays installed. If you need the required relays, you need to use just the Replacement Wiring Harness for Tow Ready Nissan Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118267.

If you ever need to use a 4-way harness alone, I recommend using the Hopkins 7-Way RV to 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47340.
