Question:
I have a 4th generation 2019 Silverado 1500 crew cab. I would like to mount a Rhino Rack 42113B roof rack on it but I want to be able to remove it when not in use to park in my garage. How can I mount this without using the backbone system? Is there a way to use the RR RLKVA or RLT600 legs?

While we do have an option for you, the correct platform and backbone that is engineered to fit your 2019 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab is the # RR28ZW. The 42113B is unfortunately not confirmed to fit.
With that being said, without using the Backbone, the only way to install just the platform # RR72TB with legs is with drilling a track system directly onto your cab. For this route, you need the following parts:
- Rhino-Rack RTC-Style Roof Rack Tracks # RTC14
- Track Mount RLTP Legs for Rhino-Rack RTC- and RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks # RLTP-2
With this setup, you will have a 60" Long x 56" Wide platform tray that you can easily remove from the tracks without having the Backbone system in order to fit your truck into the garage.
