Roof Rack Recommendation for Thule Cargo Box on a 2019 Infiniti QX50 with Raised Rails

We definitely have a roof rack for your 2019 Infiniti QX50 to fit a cargo box, but I confirmed with Thule that they do not have a rack that fits your raised rails on your vehicle.

With that being said, if you are looking for an economical option, I recommend the Malone SteelTop # MPG201. If, however, you want a more aerodynamic system that has more crossbar space, I recommend the Curt Roof Rack # C18118. Both of these racks include theft-deterring locks to protect your investment. Also, as far as weight capacity, the SteelTop provides you with 165 pounds and the Curt provides you with 150 pounds. In order to be safe, I recommend consulting with your Infiniti owner's manual to make sure that your roof can handle the weight you wish to transport.

For a great Thule cargo box, I recommend the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy # TH629806. Not only is this box compatible with both sets of crossbars, it comes with large internal dimensions of 79" long x 31-1/2" wide x 15" tall for a large storage space. In order to make sure that you can fully open your trunk on your QX50 with the Motion XT installed, I recommend measuring from the furthest forward front crossbar position to the line where your roof and trunk meet. As long as this is at least 51-1/4" long, you are good to go! I went ahead and attached a photo that shows you how to conduct this measurement.
